Final Predictions for Survivor Worlds Apart

Since we never seem to properly track these things, and we have a website, I’ve decided to make a weekly post tracking our predictions and who’s ahead in the score: me or John. More interestingly, we’re giving you all a chance to play along. Each week, we’ll post a poll to see who our listeners is going home in that week’s episode (no spoilers!). At the end of the season, we’ll see who was best at this.

Wait, do you guys think that John just agreed to my predictions in our most recent podcast in order to keep his one point lead? Diabolical. See if you can keep your half point lead, hive-mind.

No, that last poll isn’t a mistake.

  1. 25 votes, 25 people thinking Mike is going to win.

I think everyone thinks there is a >0% chance Carolyn wins, but not one actually thinks she has a better chance than Mike at this point, since their path to victory is basically the same.

      1. To be fair I don’t think I could have articulated a case for sending Sierra home at five until Mike did so, at which point I was like, ‘yeah, that’s probably correct.’

      2. I think there was a case of the edit pumping up Carolyn (just a tiny bit) because she made the finale. In the post show interviews, a lot of people really seemed to agree that Rodney and Sierra were jury threats, and Mike made a good case for why Sierra was his strongest challenge threat. But I think a lot of those subtleties weren’t shown much in the edit.
