Emma joined Andy to conduct our fourth podcast interview of the week, with everyone’s favourite llama-rustler Kass McQuillen. You’ll be surprised to learn that she has no trouble speaking her mind about both her former cast mates in Cagayan and her potential future cast mates for Second Chances.

In addition to discussed her past and future moves, we also talk to Kass about:

Whether or not her villain status will hurt her in the voting and the game.

Dan Foley’s epic Ponderosa video.

What prompted her to give Trish the finger in Cagayan.

Kass finger

What went through her mind when she ran into Andrew Savage in casting.

Of course, we always welcome your comments. You can leave a comment here, tweet us @purplerockpod, or email us at purplerockpodcast on gmail. Thanks for listening!

  • For real 11:30 rolled around last night and I was kind of thinking about how I wanted to blow off my friends to go watch this. I guess it’s good that I didn’t, but all-around a really fun conversation. I can’t say it convinced me to vote for Kass, but that’s because I’m sane and therefore already voting for Kass.

    • Kass had connectivity issues that prevented us from getting started on time. We were able to pick it back up after she moved from wireless to ethernet. We were originally going to chat for 30-45 minutes, but she was incredibly generous with her time and we were having too much fun talking to her.

      • Yeah, the people I had over rolled out around midnight, eastern, and I was like, ‘well, I could tune in for the second half of that, but I wouldn’t understand most of it, on account of… a variety of substances, so hopefully they put it up on youtube tomorrow.’

And you guys did, and it was great. Thanks to all three of you for a fun hour, and special thanks to Kass for being a sport and running past her allotted time. I giggled at the little bit at the end where she’s explaining to her husband that yes, she’s still doing this, but it’s almost over.

      • Actually, that was her daughter, who had to stay up late. Kass went into her daughter’s room and used her computer that had the ethernet cable while her daughter was on the laptop watching Minecraft videos. Which my kid does all the time.

  • I loved this. Great job by all involved, and it only reaffirmed my decision to cast multiple votes for Kass per day.

I’m glad that even though I wasn’t able to participate, Andy still made one of my favorite arguments: Without Kass, Cagayan probably ends up a pretty boring season.

  • This was great. Kass is really quite the conversationalist when she doesn’t feel like she has to be defensive. Here’s hoping she gets put in a tribe, or alliance, that ‘gets’ her, and we can see this Kass edited on TV.

  • I loved Emma’s reaction when she realized what Andy meant when he said that he hoped her and Kass were saying that the “Andrew” part of Savage’s name was a great name.
