They said it couldn’t be done. That you couldn’t go through an entire season without ever once correctly predicting the person who would go home. But it’s been done. History was made. It took epic idol/tie-breaking results and a finals sweep, but it happened.
I will say that my crowning achievement was gamed a little bit by the end. I actually still thought heading into the finale that Jeremy was the most likely winner. But I figured if I HAD to get something right, I wanted it to be Kelley winning. Plus, I had to undo my midseason prediction.
Congrats to the winner: Mark, who tied with our readers but held the tiebreaker by picking Jeremy to win at the quarter-season point. You got 6 out of 18 predictions correct! Also, for clarification: no one got third place right because there was no third place finisher. Maybe next year I’ll throw in “tie for second place” as an option.
Oh, if anyone is looking at this chart and wondering why the numbers skip two spots: those were the Terry and Woo boots, which we skipped for rampant spoiler issues (on Terry’s exit). Hopefully none of that next season.
