Purple Rock Survivor podcast: Ranking the Survivor seasons, episode 6

Reminder: We’ll be doing a series of these for the next few weeks, with a different guest each episode recommending or bashing certain seasons for us in order to influence our rankings. At the end, we’ll post everyone’s rankings and give our own rankings so you can tell us how wrong we are.

The real Andy returns this week, and it’s just in time to discuss one of the most spectacular and fascinating failures Survivor has ever had: Fiji. Though it’s generally one of the least-liked Survivor seasons, Andy and John are particularly fascinated about the ways in which it failed.

In this episode, we discuss four seasons ranging from fantastic to a complete turd in the punch bowl: Cook Islands, Fiji, Panama, and Gabon. Our guest Billy provides a double dose of Candian-ness to this episode and admits that he may have rigged his list, causing us to reconsider whether his rankings can truly be trusted.

We welcome discussion of previous seasons, and if you think we’ve treated a previous season unfairly, please send us your feedback:
