Congratulations to Mom’s Squad, the winner of this season’s Pick-4 league! You did it! You won the right to brag on the internet! Unfortunately, that’s the only thing you won, because your team name did not include a Disqus or Twitter username for me to contact you to enter next season’s Champions League. You know who is invited to next season’s Champions League, though? @melissaaabot, because that’s a Twitter name and it’s our second place team. In third place is AlisaShorty, which was not a Disqus username until a few weeks ago. So…I guess you get an invite? In fourth place is Chris Noble fanclub, living up to the greatness of its namesake.

But wait! If Mom’s Squad is out of Champions League, that means our fifth place team gets in. And this season, that’s pufflehuff. Welcome to Champions League, pufflehuff! Should any of the other top finishers not be available, our next two teams eligible for a Champions League invite are Seanachaidh and Assistant to the Commissioner prettyboyprobst.

Some quick shout-outs for the other familiar names in the top 25: Crappy defied his name and ended up in 9th place. Forever1267’s thirsty team of bangable men ended up in 12th place. Chivafan30 and Lira2012 finish in 15th and 16th, respectively. Wimpy Little Non-Leaders League

Remember that substantial lead ADS had last week? It didn’t hold. Ms Woozah dropped the hammer in the finale, riding Angelina’s greatness and Nick’s win to a victory of her own. That means Woozah will be returning to Champions League for the first time since Worlds Apart! (Yes, I looked it up.) ADS finishes second, followed by Violina and Corndog Shuffle. ADS remains commissioner of this league, and can decide who participates next year or abdicate the commissioner throne to someone else if he so chooses.
