Ali was on a third of all teams in this league, meaning we’ve had back to back weeks where an extremely popular fantasy player went home. For a player that got a decent amount of screen time, Ali did not put many points on the board. Ali was consistently on tribes that weren’t so great at challenges, which account for the bulk of pre-merge points. She finishes with just eight points and the undying support of my Twitter feed last night.

Occasional commenter YoshiKirbyAndToad is also tied for 4th place, just three points ahead of Purple Rock Matt’s insultingly-named team. Judson Helland feels the pain of having robbed goddess Roark on his team, falling into a 13th place tie with Twitter’s own Survivor Central and new commenter Star Z. Champions and Outcasts Leagues

I’m almost hesitant to talk about just how much XL Pelican is dominating Champions League. I debated not mentioning it, because I’d never want to jinx him. But then I remembered that A) jinxes are total bullshit, and B) it’s impossible for him to lose. He now has an 8-point lead over Purple Tally, the witch apprentice that has become the witch master. Mark is clinging to third place, but it’s unlikely to last for long with a merge coming next week. And corndogshuffle seems destined to fall out of Champions League next season barring a dominant win by Ryan this season.

In the Outcasts League, parity has gone out the window. Taako from Teevhi loses his second player, and there’s a clear dividing line between the bottom four teams and the top five. But if recent discussions about tax cuts have taught me anything, it’s that we should be focused on distributing more points to the people at the top- especially since the people at the top in this case are PRP staffers. Sure, you can claim that we’re already fortunate in that we get an automatic invite to Outcasts League- a privilege not extended to the average person. But to that I say, “Hey, shut up!”
