Most of you didn’t need two shots to get the first boot of the season right. Some of us just didn’t want to see it.
We’re getting a tribe swap this week, going from two tribes to three. Since most of the information available to us at this point is useless, we’re only getting one crack at predicting the right name.
Boot Predictions
Andy: On the podcast, I predicted Troy thinking that I saw him hunting the goat in the previews. I’ve seen it again now, and it’s clearly JT. Which makes me wonder: do I just keep the Troy prediction because it makes me feel good, or do I stick with my reasoning and switch it to JT? Further complicating matters, JT might be the one going after the idol. And as we all know, the new no revote rule has made it impossible to vote for anyone even SUSPECTED to have an idol. Very bad. Ah well; let’s switch it to JT, and give the Queen back-to-back eliminations of the other two winners.
John: I don’t know how the tribes are going to break, so it’s impossible for me to guess who will be on a tribe that loses a challenge. If I have to fire a shot in the dark, I may as well pick Debbie, because she’s unpredictable and could aggravate people that want a stable alliance.
Emma: Swaps are a crap shoot, especially when you don’t know what the tribes will be. So as much as I don’t want it to be true, I’m just going to go with Cirie. At least then I can be happy being wrong or find solace if I am right.
Mark: There’s a swap this week, and while we don’t know where most people end up, CBS was gracious enough to spoil the new Nuku tribe. And since they have Varner and Sandra, I’m going to guess they don’t do too well. Sandra is already predisposed to going after winners, and with most of the old Mana tribe on this team, I see JT as a likely target. (Especially if he sows distrust and goes after the idol.) Bye bud…too bad you won’t be able to give it to someone in a letter.
Matt: Cirie goes home. God it pains me to predict this, but I don’t really see anybody else that was set up for a boot, which means either that the set up will be mostly confined to the new episode (not unlikely) or it will be the one person that got totally frozen out by her tribe. Maybe she is about to go on a big come-from-behind arc, or maybe the show is giving us all the Cirie we will get before she goes home because no one will work with her. God I hope I am wrong.
