The Purple Rock Podcast crew try to work their way through the glut of remaining players to figure who will place where, and who will win.

Wait… I put together a 4000-word post yesterday and have to do another one today? AND set up six polls and update the table? Well… let’s get on with it.

Staff Predictions

Andy

At six, Sebastian is ready to make a move with Donathan to take out one of the power couple using his extra vote. It’ll feel exciting until either Angela or Laurel run to the power couple to let them know about it. Donathan pays the price.

Then at five, Sebastian pays the price. Especially since they don’t want him to get near the fire making challenge. I’m not convinced if either Domenick or Wendell will have to play their idols.

Domenick wins the final four immunity and takes Laurel with him to the finals. Wendell beats Angela at fire making.

Laurel gets no votes but a lot of heat from the jury. Her explanations will not be satisfactory to them or me.

Wendell will get some votes as Matt and I painstakingly laid out yesterday in a post so perfect that there’s no way he’d ever go against it.

Domenick will get the most votes and be our winner. His fake idols will not have helped him. His victory will not stop anyone from arguing against the need to make Big Moves next season.

Sixth: Donathan. And I want to add the bonus prediction that Sebastian’s “big move” is going to be using his double vote to take out Donathan, 6-1. It’s the most Sebastian of outcomes.

Fifth: Angela, despite what my casual Survivor-watching friend may think, is not destined to win this season. Instead, the two people competing to come in third place to Domenick and Wendell will unite to get rid of the common enemy that they could beat in a final tribal council.

Fourth: I’m going to be bold here and say Wendell loses the fire challenge. Who beats him? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Someone.

Third: Laurel, who correctly assumed that Domenick and Wendell would split the votes at final tribal council: 100% to Domenick, 0% to Wendell. Laurel ties with Wendell.

Second: Sebastian, who everyone is shocked to see still there. He should get shut out, but I’m putting him in second place just in case someone accidentally votes for him. Maybe they were drunk and meant to write his name as a goof, but forgot to cross it off before putting it in the voting urn. I don’t know. The point is, Sebastian now owns a really expensive bong. Good for him.

Winner: Domenick. And the crowd shrugs and starts looking at next season’s cast.

6. After trying to stir the pot last week, and with no actual threats left for Domdell, Donathan is the only person the power couple thinks is worth targeting.

5. I’m honestly just saying Angela here because I don’t know where else to put her. Sebastian probably wins immunity or something, idk. Domdell play their idols because might as well.

4. Let’s say Laurel wins immunity and takes Wendell with her because lol. So it’s Sebastian vs. Domenick in the fire-making challenge. He loses. All the people who think Domenick is going to win the season also thought David was going to win MvGX, all I’m saying. I may have gotten every other part of that finale prediction wrong, but I got the winner right.

6: Donathan goes out first. He is the loudest anti-Domdell voice in the room and at this point all dissent must be silenced. You must bow down for Domdell or face their wrath!

5: Angela goes next because fuck it I’m gonna get crazy here. Sebastian wins immunity, Dom and Wendell play their idols and the vote is between Laurel and Angela, so they vote out Angela, because seriously why would you vote out Laurel?

4: Okay and here is where that craziness pays off. Sebastian is still in the game and that guy has a life time of experience with fire to play with. He is going to fire out one of Dom or Wendell. This is happening. And which one is it? Well, I’m getting real crazy and saying Domenick goes down here just short of FTC where he would have won.

3: Laurel is third because no one is voting for Laurel.

2: Sebastian gets Angela’s vote or something random like that.

1: Wendell wins 9-1. Yeah, I know the good money is Dom, I think Dom is the favorite, but what can I say? Maybe I just want to predict something different rather than the usual Donathan-Sebastian-Angela-Laurel-Wendell-Domenick order that I think everyone will pick. (Editor’s note: yeah, about that…)
