Purple Rock Matt’s Weekly PWAWWAWP

You may have heard that we have decided to eliminate the Predictions post and won’t be predicting week to week boots. This is all true. The fact is, we were just too good at it. It ceased to be fun.  Instead I will be predicting who will win the season every week. I call it Matt’s Premature Winners At War Wildly Ambitious Winner’s Prognostication. Or Matt’s PWAWWAWP. Catchy, no? Let’s dive into this episode.

When choosing a PWAWWAWP it is important to study the players to see who distinguishes themselves from the others on the season. A PWAWWAWP cannot be merely one of the crowd, they must float above. When everybody is doing one thing, a PWAWWAWP is someone who did something else. They are not merely just another contestant, they are a winner! A PWAWWAWP! So the question is really, who stood out this week? Who displayed the true mettle of a PWAWWAWP?

There is one key scene in this episode for PWAWWAWP purposes, and that would be tribal council. When anarchy descends a true winner, a PWAWWAWP, will rise above that anarchy and set themselves apart. People might be whispering in the background, but a PWAWWAWP will not follow this example like a sheep, a PWAWWAWP will instead march to the beat of their own drum. But neither will they lose their battle! They will not be duped into trying to pry loose a piece of art design. They will not attempt to play a podium. No a PWAWWAWP will instead stand and argue for their beliefs while chaos rages around them. And this is why Ben is this week’s PWAWWAWP. While everyone else was whispering, and discussing plans at tribal council, Ben stood tall and engaged in the most threatening threat this season. That’s right, Ben took on Adam, and he triumphed, like a fairy tale knight slaying the merciless dragon.

Now I know what you might be thinking, you might be thinking that Ben arguing with Adam in this moment made Ben look like a hypocrite, but I assure you this is not the case. What Ben looked like was a hero standing in between the threat and his comrades. He took the blow so that they might be safe. He stood athwart the ramparts holding back the barbarians. He stood in the middle of Tribal Council bickering with Adam like children whining to their parents about how its not fair. Truly a moment that is worthy of a PWAWWAWP. So this week, we salute you Ben! You are our PWAWWAWP.

But what do you think loyal readers? Last week your MVP was Sophie again. Who ya got this week?
