By virtue of an immunity win and collecting a lot of votes at final tribal, Aubry ends up with 55 points. Aubry was on 45 teams in all, less than half the amount that picked Christian.

This season’s winner, as foretold by the prophecy, is Dog in a Bowl. Many doubted the oracle’s visions along the way, but those who kept the faith in the “season of Aubry” doctrine were rewarded handsomely. Dog in a Bowl is our first invite to next season’s Champions League.

Since next season’s cast features 21(?!?) players, our Champions League will have 10 teams. Four of those spots will be filled by returning Champions League players, which leaves five other spots aside from Dog in a Bowl. Dragon Slaying White Lotus Q Skit (sic) is one of those five spots, by virtue of having included contact information. Lira2012 wins a Champions League invite, but will pass on that for reasons that will become clear shortly. Mark, orangealfy, Tit Whistle, and Bassmanxvi will take the remaining spots. Congrats to all of you who made it, and it will be very helpful if you leave a comment on this post so that I can easily contact you when we are beginning the draft (which should take place within a week of the official cast announcement).

Stick to the Plan is our first alternate for Champions League, having finished in 15th, but will also be declining that invitation for reasons that are only a few sentences away. Former Gen Z liaison Funky Neutral is thus the first alternate with a 16th place finish. Storm’s Husband is 17th. DJ Cambodia is in a tie for 18th with Mike Hirsch. And nostalgic commenter corndogshuffle is 20th, completing an impressive run of commenters in the bottom half of the top 20.

Champions League:

The Ladder ascends to the top in the moment when it matters most, riding high on the performance of two very cool people that everyone here definitely loves- Jonathan and Stephenie. Congrats to The Ladder! Stick to the Plan takes second place, which is why that Pick-4 performance won’t matter. Lira2012 moves up to third after a strong final episode from obvious winner Aubry, and will also not need that Pick-4 win to get into next season’s league.
